Questions

Schools FAQ

What age are the courses suitable for?

The content is child-friendly and suits secondary school students, colleges and adult learners. Younger groups can follow along with a teacher.

Do students need any equipment?

For the Ableton course, a computer that can run Ableton Live (a free trial is available). For the DJ course, DJ software works on its own, and a simple DJ controller helps for hands-on practice.

Do teachers need music technology experience?

No. Every lesson explains what students will learn and gives them a task, so teachers can guide the class without being a specialist.

How do students get support?

Through the course discussion areas and by email. There is no private messaging between staff and students.

Can you help with funding applications?

Yes. We can provide learning outcomes, CPD details and invoices to support budget requests and grant applications.
